172k was natural growth, 336k was Net migration! Nearly double our natural growth.

Definitely an unusually high proportion of immigration vs natural growth, obviously largely due to current unrest in the Middle East and conditions in Southern Europe.
But the worrying thing is everyone's acceptance of the huge natural growth figure. This country is (in my view) already overcrowded and the population can't keep growing exponentially forever. That's obvious isn't it? But control of our own 'indigenous' population isn't even being talked about. How can we be talking about stopping people coming in when we won't even address the wider problem?
And rather than isolating ourselves from Europe it's about time we used our influence to pressure and help other countries to improve their work and living conditions so their people don't feel the need to come to ours.

If this country sinks due to high demand for entry, then other countries that people are desperate to leave will rise from the seas.
In a few years time New Zealand, Syria, Afghanistan and most of north Africa could be used as an earth ladder to the moon.................................

Unemployment continues to go down only because of the governments stricter rules, hence many have been forced off unemployment benefit and onto other benefits. Nothing to do with immigrants flooding in going forth and multiplying?

Can't see a problem with this. Even if it was 10 million a year every year for ever. Or 100 million a year. We have the space, houses, schools, hospitals, etc to accommodate unlimited immigration.
